WELCOME TO THE SNUGGLY CAT BLOG

I’m Yoda, a very snuggly cat. I don’t have deformities, I’m not dwarf-like, I don’t have the ability to see into the future, my furry markings aren’t a long lost secret treasure map. I don’t go around making media appearances – I’m a normal cat ‘for meowing out loud’. I live with my human parents (and the annoying overly-excitable male fur-ball known as Spock), in the Catskill Mountains, NY. I do what cats do best: watch the flying mice with their cute little beaks, rub my humans’ legs when I want to eat, and scratch the furniture when no one’s looking.

I hope to share lots of interesting information with you, from a cat’s perspective. Here are just a couple of thoughts to get your whiskers tingling: If, for example, I’m waking you up before your alarm goes off, to get you out of bed, let’s say – even two hours before it rings – it’s only because I know you’re going to hit snooze so many times – that you’ll be late for work. And if I drop a nice tasty morsel for you (even if it’s dead with no head), at your feet or doorstep, it’s because I know that you can’t catch it yourself. It’s my reward to you. We kitties do things for lots of reasons. Hopefully I’ll be able to shed some light (not fur) on these mysteries for you. Meow, so there you are! Let’s meow more soon.
